Hannah Biggs – Research Assistant in Public Health Evaluation

hannahHannah has over 10 years of public health research, development, facilitation and support experience with expertise in mental health. Prior to joining SCPHRP in 2017, Hannah worked in a range of research, development and facilitation roles including working as a Researcher at the Mental Health Foundation and the Scottish Development Centre for Mental Health and in support roles at ASH Scotland and the Scottish Government.

Hannah’s topic interest and expertise spans a wide range of mental health subject areas including long-term conditions; health inequalities; self management; peer support; stigma and discrimination; the arts; workplace mental health; public mental health; and recovery and empowerment.
Hannah specialises in qualitative research and development methodologies and has extensive experience in implementing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies in both small and large research, evaluation and development projects, including national programme evaluations.
Hannah is interested in research utilisation into policy and practice and engaging stakeholders in research, co-design and development processes.
Hannah holds a Sociology MA (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh.
